Save the day. Donate blood. Exhibit Systems is sponsoring our annual Blood Drive on June 3, 2016 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. The BloodCenter of Wisconsin’s Bloodmobile unit will again be in our parking lot to make it easy to give.
Blood is the essence of life and to give selflessly can make you feel more connected to your community. It’s a fulfilling and enriching experience to know that your donation could save lives. Unfortunately, fewer than 5% of people who are eligible to donate actually do. Imagine the lives that could be touched by your gift. It’s a quick, simple and amazing way to give back to the community.
For more than 65 years, BloodCenter of Wisconsin has partnered with donors to meet the needs of people in our local communities. BloodCenter is the only supplier of blood products to more than 50 Wisconsin community hospitals. Your contribution as a blood donor helps enhance the lives of your family, friends, and neighbors.
“This will the fourth year Exhibit Systems has hosted a blood drive, and this year we hope to have even more people participate,” said Brad Behl.
Every month, Exhibit Systems employees focus on a different Core Value and incorporate unique activities that illustrate each point.
“Our blood drive is part of our May Core Value: Reliable,” explained Behl. The Reliability point states “We are dependable in achievement and accuracy while honestly fulfilling our promises.”
In the past, donors included Exhibit Systems employees, friends, family and community members. We will also make sure that donors are well rewarded with snacks and beverages.
The need for blood donations never stops. According to the BloodCenter of Wisconsin, patients in local hospitals use nearly 800 pints of blood every day, and only about half of that is collected at the BloodCenter’s donor centers. Mobile blood drives are a critical part of meeting that ongoing need in communities … and a very rewarding way for all of us to do our part in saving lives.
Exhibit Systems holds an annual Blood Drive every spring, so please help us to save lives. Your contributions are always welcome and will go a long way to helping others.
