This past week we hosted a group of 7th grade students as part of the MMAC “Be the Spark” program. The program offers these tours to introduce more students to the diverse businesses that fuel the metro Milwaukee economy. COSBE, the small business division of the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce, initiated the program in 2014 and Exhibit Systems is happy to participate.
This year, the students got a behind-the-scenes look at how we design and build trade show exhibits. Exhibit Systems’ team members spent time with the kids, explaining their various job functions. As part of the tour, the students visited with our creative services team to learn about the software and process used to create large-scale graphics and trade show booth designs. They also spent time in our Operations and Warehousing area and saw some exhibits that are in the process of being built.
Each group of students also met with our newest division, Results Marketing. They learned about some of the photo and video tools we use to create content for social media posts and email marketing. As an added bonus, the kids went home with information about how to be responsible digital citizens.
All of the students tried their hand at our giant Plinko game and everyone went home a winner with an Exhibit Systems gift bag of swag!
